I have been in business since 1970 and have experience in a variety of residential and light commercial construction projects.

I was a House and Building Mover in Columbus, Ohio from 1970 to 1982 and was nationally recognized for a number of projects which included relocation and renovation of many historically significant structures.

I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1982 and continued House and Building Moving but became more involved in structural retrofitting and foundation replacement including a number of house elevations in flood plain areas in the Atlanta area.

I have been here in Rabun County since 1995 where I do foundation and structural retrofitting, complete renovations, and custom home building.

I am very sensitive to the problems that can occur in a house that is not built structurally sound and not on a proper foundation.Therefore, I recommend that soil and structural engineers be involved when necessary.

As a builder, I do one house at a time. I personally supervise my employees to control quality and cost, and only use subcontractors in specific areas mainly HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

We are a family run business with my wife, Kim, in the office, and sons Timothy and Matthew in the field when not in school.

I am a Earth Craft Builder, active in the local HBA of Rabun County, and HBA of Georgia.
